Mobile Voting Project, Tusk Strategies

Biography

Aileen manages the day-to-day operations for the Mobile Voting Project, an initiative to dramatically increase voter turnout and participation in U.S. elections through mobile voting. She has supported the successful implementation of pilots in West Virginia, Denver, and Utah County that allowed UOCAVA voters to vote using a blockchain-based mobile voting application. In addition to her work on mobile voting, Aileen also works on multi-jurisdictional campaigns at Tusk Strategies, providing public affairs guidance and research support grounded in her deep experience in running issue-based and electoral state campaigns.

Before joining Tusk, Aileen was a Senior Associate at Civitas Public Affairs Group, where she helped develop the strategies and coalitions to support national and multi-state advocacy and political campaigns related to reproductive health, rights, and justice, rape kit reform, youth workforce development, consumer protection, mental health, and the opioid crisis. Prior to consulting, Aileen served as District Director for an Illinois State Representative, where she oversaw constituent services and conducted the policy research and analysis needed to further the Representative’s agenda. Aileen has also worked on a number of successful local campaigns, where she developed candidates’ policy platforms, led field campaigns, and ensured compliance with state campaign finance laws. Aileen began her career as a producer covering the 2008 presidential campaigns for ABC News’ affiliate service.

Aileen is graduate of New York University and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Administration from Northwestern University.
