Biography

Ms. Perri Nejib, (moderator) is a Northrop Grumman (NG) Tech Fellow and Cyber Solutions Architect for the Advanced Cyber Technology Center. She has over 33 years of experience in systems engineering, program protection and system security engineering across DoD, Intelligence Community and Civil domains. She is currently a senior consultant and was instrumental in standing up the Northrop Global Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (GCCoE). Ms Nejib provides both technical and capture support across numerous programs, IR&D, and academic research in the area of cybersecurity and system security engineering. She earned her M.S, and B.S. in Electrical Engineering and holds CISSP (cybersecurity), ESEP (system engineering) and CIPM (Privacy) senior certifications. Prior to working for industry, she was employed by the U.S. Army Research Laboratory. Ms Nejib holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and B.S.E.E. from Wilkes University.

She represents industry on the INCOSE (International Council on System Engineering) and NDIA (National Defense Industry Association) System Security Engineering (SSE) working groups. Ms Nejib has moderated panels before during various company symposiums and workshops. She also has supported and participated in panels at previous women focused tech (Grace Hopper Conference and WiCyS) events in the area of cybersecurity. Both she and Dr Beyer are the co-chairs for the NDIA Cybersecurity Division, in this capacity they have interacted and developed a network of women cybersecurity leaders that are having significant impact in this domain.
