Paul M Andrus is a former Marine Corps F-18 pilot with experience in the air, on land, and at sea in four combat operations. While on active duty, Paul was also a military parachutist and a fires coordinator from battalion- to corps-level.
After leaving active duty, Paul became an Instructor at the National Security Space Institute in Colorado Springs. He taught DoD Space Professionals a wide range of topics, including space operations, joint operations, spacecraft engineering and subsystems, astrodynamics, and the law of armed conflict.
During this time Paul also worked as the Chief Information Security Office for a small defense contracting firm. He implemented a formal cybersecurity program; integrating HIPAA, ISO, and NIST standards into the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
He is currently a Principal IT Security Data Analyst at Oracle Corporation. He is also an Affiliate Faculty member of Regis University, where he teaches Data Science courses.
He has an MS in Information Assurance specializing in Cybersecurity and an MS in Data Science from Regis University. He also holds Graduate Certificates in Homeland Security from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs, and in Data Science and Cybersecurity from Regis University.
